When you are ready to make your project, come to the Spark Lab and attach your device via a USB cable and work with a Tech Tutor to get started.

What do I need to use the Cricut Maker?

Please bring your own materials to use.  We have a very limited supply of items but always have scrap paper you can learn with.

How do I create what I want?

To use the Cricut Maker, all designs must go through the Cricut Design Space program.  This is a free, online program that you can create your own free account, follow the tutorials, get new ideas and start designing your own projects.  This can be done on your own device anywhere you wish.  You don't have to be hooked up to the Cricut Maker to design.

How do I learn more about the Cricut Design Space software?

Cricut has a very robust online community.  To learn how to design something refer to the tutorials in the Design Space software or Google what you are looking to do, there are many great YouTube videos out there giving step by step directions.  You can also come talk to a Tech Tutor to see if together you can make your idea work.

What is the maximum size the Cricut Maker can do?

The Cricut Maker uses specialized mats to push your material through the machine.  The mats come in sizes of 12" x 12" or 12" x 24".
