The Franklin & Marshall volleyball team (6-4) returns home for the first time in nearly three weeks as it welcomes York (Pa.) to the Mayser Center on Friday, September 22 at 7 p.m.

Last Week

The Diplomats went 2-1 at the Trinity Fall Classic, defeating Whittier and Pomona-Pitzer while falling to No. 12 Trinity. F&M topped the Poets in the opening match of the tournament, before a hard fought, 3-1 loss to the Tigers. The following day, the Diplomats outlasted the Sagehens in five sets. Last Time vs. York

The two team last met in 2021 at the F&M-York Tournament, where F&M defeated the Spartans in five sets. The Diplomats won the first two sets before York rallied to claim the next two. In a back-and-forth fifth set, F&M hung on, 16-14 to clinch the match. Read the full recap here.  

York Team Preview

The Spartans have opened the season 7-4, participating in the Gettysburg Battlefield Classic and a pair of tri-matches. York has already faced three Centennial teams, besting McDaniel and Washington College while losing to Gettysburg. Gianna Krinock has led the way offensively for the Spartans with 123 kills, while Jasmin Doguin has posted a team-best 137 digs.
