The Franklin & Marshall field hockey team (1-3) is set for its first road trip of the season this week. The Diplomats look to climb up to .500 as they head to York, Pa. to face No. 9 York College (3-0) on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. F&M then travels to Union, N.J. to take on No. 15 Kean (4-0) on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
Last Week
F&M dropped a ranked matchup at home vs. No. 8 Messiah, 0-1, before dominating Montclair State, 5-0. After being out-shot 7-12 against the Falcons on Wednesday, the Diplomats registered 15 shots to the Red Hawks' 9.on Saturday. Jessica Miller tallied both a goal and an assist, while first-year Meghan Dole made six saves on seven shots faced between both games.
Last Time vs. York
F&M was down 2-0 by York during the 2022 season. Although the Diplomats had an 11-6 shot advantage, goals by Connie Harburda and Katie Martino led the Spartans to a win. Keira Boensch led F&M with four shots while Jorga Pastore made three saves in goal. Read the full recap here.

The Diplomats fell 1-0 to Kean in the team's 2022 matchup. Jorga Hibschman scored the lone goal of the afternoon for the Cougars off of a penalty corner in the third quarter. Sophie Carroll registered a team-high five shots while Sydney Lippe made five saves in net. Read the full recap here.
York Team Preview
The Spartans enter Wednesday's matchup with a 3-0 record and having outscored its opponents 7-1. On Wednesday, September 6, York knocked off No. 2 Johns Hopkins, 3-1, in a domination of the reigning national runner up. The team last played exactly one week ago and defeated St. Marry (Md.), 3-0.
Kean Team Preview
The Cougars have remained unbeaten through their first four matchups, scoring at least three goals in each contest. Most notably, Kean downed No. 20 William Smith College , 3-1 on Saturday, September 9. The Cougars have three separate players who have scored three goals on the season, including Peyton Mann, Jorja Hibschman and Morgan Stump. In goal, Jenna Flemings has completed two shutouts and allowed just two shots to get past her.
