The Franklin & Marshall field hockey team (1-3) is set for its first road trip of the season this week. The Diplomats look to climb up to .500 as they head to York, Pa. to face No. 9 York College (3-0) on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. F&M then travels to Union, N.J. to take on No. 15 Kean (4-0) on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.

F&M dropped a ranked matchup at home vs. No. 8 Messiah, 0-1, before dominating Montclair State, 5-0. After being out-shot 7-12 against the Falcons on Wednesday, the Diplomats registered 15 shots to the Red Hawks' 9.on Saturday. Jessica Miller tallied both a goal and an assist, while first-year Meghan Dole made six saves on seven shots faced between both games.

The Spartans enter Wednesday's matchup with a 3-0 record and having outscored its opponents 7-1. On Wednesday, September 6, York knocked off No. 2 Johns Hopkins, 3-1, in a domination of the reigning national runner up. The team last played exactly one week ago and defeated St. Marry (Md.), 3-0.
