Sea floor singing
Dad please, I just want to go to the surface ""No, I've told you a thousand times it's too dangerous up there now go back to your room". This is how it always went. I'd plead and beg him to let me see the sun and the stars just once but alas he would always say it was too dangerous. The next week I was in my room when my friend the seal brought me a gift; He often would bring me gifts from the surface but this time it was different. It was a guitar I knew what it was because I had seen one in a magazine I had found on the sea floor. I plucked a string and it sounded beautiful, I thanked him for the gift and he swam off. That night I played my new guitar. The sound was addictive, and I couldn't stop playing it. It was a couple weeks later when I was swimming while playing my guitar when an Atlantic salmon swam up and complimented my playing. That's when I realized I was good. That night I got thinking what if I started performing on the surface once that thought got in my head it wouldn't get out so I decided to go with it.
When I got to the venue it was packed and the stars were out . I went up on the stage and my palms were sweating but I knew this was my one shot. I kept forgetting what I wrote down but I was not going to miss my shot. I sang and played like I've never sang or played before. At the end of my performance the crowd cheered like crazy. I stepped off the stage and ran home. But when I climbed from my window my dad was waiting for me, but to my surprise he was smiling. It turned out my dad was at the venue I performed at and he wasn't mad at me. Instead he thought I did great and congratulated me on my performance and apologized for not letting me go on the surface but that he was also disappointed in me . I ended up being grounded for a week but after I was done being grounded my dad took me to a music tournament and I won first place. after we went home and ate chicken nuggets.
