After leaving The Fallibroome Academy after A Levels, Pip went on to study Dance and Musical Theatre at The Urdang Academy in London. Graduating with a Level 6 National Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre, Pip has gone on to dance for multiple cruise lines all across the world. Between contracts at sea, Pip performs in corporate events across the UK, as well as teaching different styles of dance to aspiring performers.
My love of dance has always been a constant in my life since my first class in 2014, a forever growing passion and interest within this medium has lead me years of self discovery. I have always been fascinated by the art of dance, in the way it encompasses so many different aspects of life, from political movements, to communication between indigenous tribes and a form of expression. I am currently exploring the complexities of dance and how it allows us to find new ways of grounding the human body and push physical boundaries.
As I am now studying at the age of 22 completing my dance degree at the university of Roehampton, I believe that by studying at The Fallibroome Academy triggered my love and passion for this commendable profession. As each day passes i find my self engaged in the work of current choreographers and practitioners and I look forward to what is yet to be discovered.
Having completed A Level Dance in June of this year, I will be starting my degree at the prestigious Italia Conti to further my training on the musical theatre course for three years and then I hope to work in musical theatre as a singer , dancer and actress !
After A Level I went to study Outdoor and Adventure Education at the University of Chichester where surprisingly, dance - and the agility, strength and balance that come with it - came in very handy, especially for the climbing and surfing portions of the course! Now I’m working in a boarding school, working primarily in the boarding house, but also teaching PE and outdoor activities I’m looking to move abroad in the next couple of years to work as a surf instructor and a wilderness teacher in a school in New Zealand!
Hi I’m Isabella and I took Dance, Theatre Studies, Maths and Electronics at A Level. I’ve done Performing Arts for as long as I can remember and was certain I wanted to do Dance and Drama at A level, but despite this I am going on to do an electronic engineering degree apprenticeship at Siemens in Manchester and begin my career in STEM.
Since completing A-level dance, I've gone on to graduate from Oxford Brookes University having studied Sociology. I am currently working for a software company as Customer Success Manager.
Eleanor studied Dance A Level alongside Theatre Studies and English Literature whilst at Fallibroome Sixth Form, and fondly remembers performing in Grease in 2014! She went on to study Theatre and Performance at Guildford School of Acting (GSA), within the University of Surrey, and complete a professional placement year with Monkton Combe Senior School as part of her degree. She undertook a number of design and performance modules, spent a year as the President of the Musical Theatre Society (MTSoc) and was lucky enough to operate the visuals for Scouting for Girls and Disciples with Surrey Stage Crew. After her graduation in 2019, Eleanor spent 2 further years at Monkton Combe School (MCS), where she was the Drama Graduate Teaching Assistant and responsible for the stagecraft for all curricular and extra curricular performances.. She now works at Dean Close School as a Chaplain's Assistant, and will be taking on some A Level Theatre Studies design route teaching support this coming September.
Cat Jones is a creative freelancer working at the intersection between movement, craft and outdoor immersion as a restorative practice to foster play, curiosity and connection.
In 2020 she graduated from Middlesex University achieving First Class Honours BA Dance Practice (Choreography), and was awarded The Rosemary Butcher Prize for choreography from the executive Dean at Middlesex University.
After her undergraduate degree, where she specialised in release technique and embodied environmental practices, Cat went on to complete Level three training in Forest School, combining her movement and interest in outdoor creative work. Since graduating she has taught movement and nature craft sessions for dance and outdoor organisations, reimagined educational programmes and collaborative workshops.
Based in London, her current interest lies in creating opportunities for people to respond to release movement and nature connection activities. She is passionate about widening access to wellbeing through wild spaces, and in February 2022 she started as the Community Coordinator at The Garden Classroom, where she currently works part time alongside her freelance projects.
My future plans at the moment are very free flowing. After finishing my A-Levels at sixth form I have chosen to take a gap year to work in order to go travelling. Just seeing where the world takes me! Looking to continue dancing in various studios around Stockport and Manchester alongside work which includes teaching choreographed fitness classes.
After completing A Levels (including A Level Dance) at Fallibroome, I went on to study Professional Musicianship at BIMM university in Manchester City Centre in vocals. This was an experience I wouldn’t change for the world. I met some amazing people at my Uni who I am still extremely close with. For my dissertation I focused my time on coaching and mentoring. Although I went on into the hospitality sector and I am now an Area Manager in the training and development of my teams and venues, the experience I received in my Uni was amazing. I still love going to the theatre and I do perform as and when I can at open mic nights or group singing opportunities.
