Virtual Day #1

Let's get into the groove.  Head to the Fall Creek home page https://www.fallcreek.k12.wi.us/   and hover on SCHOOLS  - over to Elementary and down to Library Media Center.   Then scroll down and choose your favorite database between World Book, Britannica and National Geographic.   Also try the library challenge below.

Remember that you may need to enter the username and password

World Book   fallcreek        facts

Britannica      find our school   and then use fallcreek OR facts    your choice for the password

National Geographic enter the password      facts

Do a few searches and show someone at home your favorite feature on the database

Challenge -

Use this page pictured below or one of your own library books to teach someone in your house how to find the copyright date (the year the book was made)!

Today follow the webpage directions from day one and try two of the "specialty" sites we have discussed

Choose from :

Science

History

Biographies

Maps

either they will ask you for a username and password          fallcreek            facts

or you may have to choose our school from a list and then use the password       fallcreek    OR     facts     your choice

Do a few searches on several of them to see which you like the best!
