Mrs. kristen stack

Last Names: F-K
kstack@fairlawnschools.org

Mrs. Stack graduated from Ramapo with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Education. She started her career as a behavioral therapist for a private school for children with Autism. It was a beautifully rewarding career and something she thought about doing for the long term, for quite a while. However, it had always been a goal of Mrs. Stack to go back to school to get a degree in school counseling.

Eventually, Mrs. Stack earned a Masters in School Counseling from Long Island University and has now been a school counselor for 15 years at the middle school level. But being fascinated with the principles and practices of counseling and psychotherapy; she worked part time for a family counseling office and earned her LPC and later opened up her own private practice prior to her son being born.

Today, however, she happily focuses on one career which is school counseling at the high school level and one full time experience which is being a mom to her beautiful, larger than life, elementary school aged son. Together they figure out new ways to build tricks with lego blocks, paint pictures to hang up around the house or build forts to play in.
