Building Foundations

The Civilization of Ancient Rome

The Civilization of Ancient Rome changed how people lived on the land we now call Europe (and parts of Asia and Africa).

They were builders. Builders of structures, of culture, and of an empire.

Their innovations, changed how humans lived at that time.

As the empire spread, so did the people, their ideas and their products.

In fact,  2000 years later and a continent away, we (Americans in 2024) are still influenced by the changes and foundations they built.

What was life like in ancient Rome?
