Lifting Spirits with Music aims to help those who are sick and those in retirement homes by bringing music to them. We perform music for them in a recital every few months. Afterwards, we talk with the audience. This leads to connections made with those normally forgotten, like the elderly and the sick. We are able to understand and have a meaningful conversation with them.

Triple-R Adult Day Center (through the City of Sacramento) meets the social and care needs of people with dementia, while their family members get respite from round-the-clock caregiving. Although they do not have in-person programming at this time, they are offering families who are taking care of loved ones with dementia at home the opportunity to connect online through on-demand videos that can be accessed by family members anytime. They are working hard to curate their on-demand library and are looking for volunteers to help them in this area. Attached is more information, as well as a sample video for your review.
