The Schedule

Many families will travel to North Carolina on Wednesday, especially those who live farther away. 

There are no planned activities or childcare on Wednesday. 

A dinner voucher will be provided for those arriving on Wednesday evening.  Attendees arriving after dinner time will receive a bagged lunch at hotel check-in. 

In 2026, the NFDF will make travel arrangements only for families accepted to attend camp.

If you are attending the conference and not the camp, you must make your own arrangements to meet us in Greensboro. The NFDF must receive verification of your travel plans to hold hotel rooms and meal reservations. 

Interactive speaker(s) and activities.

Large exhibition of representatives from academia, research, and industry.

Fabry disease awareness materials are distributed free of charge.  Come to the tables to pick up your preferred t-shirt, a symptoms presentation, playing cards, awareness ribbons, wristbands, and more.

Participate in interactive exhibits such as the "Where are you from?" map, temporary tattoo station, or photo booth.  

Complete the "Vendor Passport" for a chance to win additional prizes! 

Some individuals will participate in focus groups or optional research studies.

Childcare will be provided by Jovie nannies.

Expect a casual conference with Fabry disease experts providing presentations on a myriad of topics.  

We'll include a Fabry disease overview as well as specialist presentations for each of the major organ systems affected by Fabry.

There will be time for audience questions + answer with Fabry experts.

Adults will participate in a sharing session lead by Jerry Walter.

Children will participate in "chat groups" led by trained genetic counselors. Otherwise, childcare will be provided by Jovie nannies.

After a day full of learning, we'll say farewell to those attending the conference only!

Those attending the camp at Victory Junction will take buses with families together.
