Hola a todos! My name is Mr. Duran, I am a Geometry and Algebra 1 teacher.
My Education:
I went to school in Ciudad Juarez from elementary to high school. For college, I did my degree in mathematics/education at UTEP!
Interest/Hobbies:
Music! I learned how to play the drums in high school and had a band with my friends. My favorite genres are Metal, Rock, Jazz, and Blues, and my favorite band of all time is Toto (classic 80's rock)! ImI
Movies! I love watching movies from around the world and from any decade! My favorite film of all time is Nolan's "The Prestige", and a close second "Double Indemnity", a movie from 1944 that everyone should watch!
Videogames! My favorite game is Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, a strategy RPG for the gamecube!
Conference time: 5th Period Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:20pm - 1:55pm
