Algebra 1
Algebra is the foundation of all upper-level math!!! In order for students to be successful in math and pass the Algebra 1 STAAR Test, we must work together and create that foundation during our year together!
Algebra Intervention
The purpose of this class is to help students who may struggle in math and go over skills and topics that are important for Algebra 1 and the Algebra 1 STAAR Test.
AP Calculus AB
If Algebra is the foundation of upper-level math, then Calculus creates the building blocks for careers in STEM. it is the hope that by the end of the year students will be able to, not only pass the class but take the AP Calculus AB Exam and receive college credit!
In class we often use foldables to organize math vocabulary and processes. On this day our foldable was used to learn how to find missing coordinate points using the slope of it's line.
Students utilized their solving equations skills and artistic abilities to create a Picasso "Math-sterpiece"
