**SNOW DAY ACTIVITIES**

Students have a few options; 

-Explore the art of "Comics and Cartoon Drawing" via the links on each grade level page

-Choose a suggestion listed on their grade level page

-Free draw for 25 minutes or more!

My goal in the classroom is to facilitate a vibe of creative freedom, in whatever format that works for the students, as a whole or individually. The environment is loud and active as students utilize multiple mediums and share their original artwork and techniques with other students.  

Each week we explore an Element of Art; 

In Trimester 1 we explored Color, Form, Texture, and Shape

In the beginning of Trimester 2 we have explored the concept of Sketching vs. Free Draw, Still Life Drawing, and mixing mediums - Oil Pastels and Watercolor
