As we have discussed this year, Art can be created using many different mediums, tools, and techniques. It's okay if you don't have a lot of art supplies at home, let's explore other ways to create outside of the classroom.
Take a look at some of my suggestions below to get those creative wheels turning.
Grab paper and a pencil and let's get sketching! Draw an animal; could be your pets, animals you see outside your window, farm animals, zoo animals, or even ocean animals - Remember to use multiple different colors and fill in your background.
Grab paper and scissors to cut snowflakes! Take a look at how this artist uses a camera to capture images of snowflakes, allowing us to see them up close.
FREE DRAW! FREE CREATE!
You can use objects you find at home and trace them, just like we used stencils in class. Trace the shapes and then try to turn these shapes into something different.
A rectangular lego can turn into a piece of cake; a triangle could turn into a slice of pizza, the bottom of a can of soup could turn into a beach ball. Use your imagination friends!
