BATTLE OF THE BOOKS CHAIR (3rd grade)
Battle of the Books is a fun and educational program supported by the PTA! Students read designated books and meet 1-2 times per month outside of school hours to discuss book content and themes. In March, students will "battle" in a fun, fast-paced game-show format to test their knowledge of the books.
PTA is looking for 2-3 parent/guardian volunteers to chair the 3rd grade Battle of the Books program. Chairs will determine the meeting schedule (usually after school one day per month for 1-2 hours). The curriculum/battle questions can be shared from last year so you don't have to reinvent the wheel!
