By the end of this session you should:
Be able to use a light microscope for observation of unstained and stained cells
Have observed different cell types under the microscope and understand the differences between them

Your tutors will initially go through a PowerPoint presentation to introduce the session and safety protocols. Safety protocols include wearing gloves & lab coat to project against the stains used on the cells.
You will make slides and stain samples to reveal the internal structures of the cells.
You will observe and draw prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells using a light microscope.
