Quick OUSD facts.

Nearly half of our 37,000 students in OUSD district-run schools speak a language other than English at home, and 31%

of students are English language learners.

Student enrollment is 42% Latino, 26% African American, 14% Asian, 11% White, 4% Multi-Racial, 1% Pacific

Islander, and 1% Filipino.

Nearly three out of four students (72.5%) qualify for free or reduced-price school meals.

About 12% are students with disabilities who receive special education services.
