One Hemisphere of Hope

A lot of people care about our little boys. However, we haven't been as vocal about what he's been through. We always looked at it as, “This is BRITTON’S story, it isn’t our job to tell his private details.” There is no reason to hide his story or his accomplishments – in fact, it feels unnatural now. 

We want to show how hard he worked and how much he overcame. There's a lot. Who knows – maybe somehow this page will help someone else, which is a funny thought considering the hot messes we are.

Our little boy is amazing. Although his timeline might look different than the typical guidelines, he’s truly incredible. The hurdles he has already leaped over (with a smile) are ones where adults might falter. We have spent so much time worrying, that we have not yet expressed how PROUD we are.

Thank you for caring enough to read this. Thank you for caring about our baby, and if you are a parent who is faced with a scary, confusing situation or difficult decision, we get it. We encourage you to reach out to people. If you are like us, you keep it in and try to solve it alone which can be impossible. 

People care - but no one knows you're struggling if you don't let them in.
