Recess

Classrooms will be assigned to areas of play during recess. These areas will rotate so students have new opportunities.

Staffing of playground supervision will be adequate to monitor and encourage active movement and discourage social gathering of large groups of students without wearing face coverings.

Activities that are designed to encourage student contact will not occur. For example, all contact sports, tag, etc will be restricted.

During inclement weather, students will have indoor recess within their own classrooms and will be encouraged to play and socialize within their own personal learning spaces.

Hand sanitizer will be available and encouraged prior to and following recess.
