Students: Please ensure you have a ride to pick you up on time as your activity ends.
Students not staying for an after-school activity must have a ride when school dismisses at 2:10 pm.
Any student not picked up by 2:20 p.m. will move to the room of a teacher on duty.

Documentation of all required vaccinations must be submitted to the school nurse by August 8th, the first day of the 2025-2026 school year, when all students report. Student Council meets Friday mornings in the cafeteria, 7:00-7:30, to sell healthy snacks as a fundraiser for Riley Hospital for Children. If you would like to join the Student Council, please help us on Friday mornings! New Tech continues to be a Red Wagon Booster for Riley Hospital, thanks to all of your support with our fundraisers! Sales are cash-only; CashApp and Venmo are not allowed.
All students eat lunch in the cafeteria - due to supervision, students can't eat lunch in classrooms.
Wireless Communication Devices: Indiana State Law has banned the use of wireless communication devices in school during instructional time. You can access the policy on the "Wireless Device Policy" tab at the top of this newsletter.

The Mayor's Youth Advisory Council offers a meaningful opportunity for young people in grades 8–12 to develop leadership skills, collaborate with peers, participate in community projects, and provide input on issues that affect youth in Evansville. Members will meet monthly and contribute to community events and initiatives throughout the nine-month term. Application is available here.

Eligibility: Students in grades 8–12, residing and attending school in the City of Evansville (including homeschool, public, or private).
Term: September 2025 – May 2026.
Application Deadline: August 25, 2025.
