Important Information
Sophomores will hear about New Tech's Entrepreneurial Academy on Monday at 8:30 a.m. in the Auditorium. All juniors (unless in Early College or Shepard Academy) will choose EA or SICTC as their graduation pathway.
Senior Graduation Products assembly is this Thursday at 10:10 a.m. in the Auditorium. Seniors will hear about graduation announcements and other senior swag.
Junior Class Ring Ordering assembly is this Thursday at 11:15 a.m. in the Auditorium.
Advance Notice: ECHO will be discontinued by the end of this school year. The New Tech Network has discontinued support for the platform. We will get input from students, teachers, and families as we determine next steps.
Asynchronous Day assignments are due by Wednesday, 11/4/26

New Tech is starting our first-ever Math Academic Super Bowl Team! If you love math and love competitions, this team is for you. There's still time to join. Our next meeting will be Thursday, November 6th from 2:15 - 3:00 p.m. in room 28. See the flyer below.
New Tech is going to Costa Rica in 2028!!
New Tech will be traveling to Costa Rica June 19-27, 2028.
Are you interested in learning more about our Costa Rica trip planned for May of 2028? Bring your parents or guardian to our informational meeting at 5:30 on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd to learn all about our itinerary, costs, and answer any other questions you might have! New Tech's Got Talent! The New Tech Talent Show will be held on November 12th from 6:30 - 7:15 in the auditorium.
Junior Class Fundraiser: It's not too early to think about gifts for the holiday season, and our junior class has you covered with a Krispy Kreme Fundraiser. Use this form to order Individual Doughnuts, Classic Glazed Dozen Certificate, a BOGO Card, or get all three!

Tutoring is available!
Math Tutoring with Math teachers is every Tuesday from 2:15 to 3:00 p.m. in rooms 27 and 28. Peer tutoring with students takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 2:15 to 3:00 p.m., in the office. Please complete this link before 1:30 p.m. on the day of tutoring. If no one signs up by 1:30, we won't have tutoring that afternoon.

2). Click on Parent Portal on the left panel.
3). Scroll to find the "Power School Parent Portal" button.

Opportunities for Student Growth and Enrichment
Be a Teacher Day at USI is on Wednesday, October 21st, from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. See the flyer below.
The Science and Engineering Apprentice Program (SEAP) places academically talented high school students with interest and ability in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) as apprentices in Department of Defense (DoD) laboratories for eight weeks during the summer. See Mr. Gibson for info.
The SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program is a unique opportunity for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) students to advance their education and jumpstart their careers. SMART provides merit-based scholarships to bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students pursuing STEM degrees. SMART scholarship recipients receive full tuition, annual stipends, summer internships, and, after graduation, civilian employment with the Department of War. See Mr. Gibson for info.
