Choice Transfers

Choice Transfers (out-of-district boundary exceptions) are required for all students who live in our boundary but want to attend school in another school district, including online public schools. 

Evergreen Residents should submit Choice Transfer Requests using the state’s Online Choice Transfer Portal. 

If you’re not able to access the online portal or if you need a form in Spanish or Russian, you may pick up a paper copy at our main office or email us at boundaries@evergreenps.org to request a printable form. We are located at 13413 NE LeRoy Haagen Memorial Drive, Vancouver, WA 98684. 

Most local school districts do not accept requests for next school year until May 1, and we do not accept or process those requests until that date. Online schools permit early submission.

Please note that our department is closed from the end of June through mid August. You may submit forms via the Online Choice Transfer Portal at any time, but emailed forms and those dropped off in person will not be processed during closures.
