Every student attending Evergreen High School will have the opportunity to use SchooLinks. This Internet-based program allows students to assess their interests, research occupations, colleges, universities, or technical schools of their choice and build a personal portfolio.

FAFSA / WASFA Opens: Thursday, October 1, 2026. Seniors - need money to help pay for college, career, or technical school? Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) will determine what financial aid you qualify for. Applications open on October 1st of each year. Be sure to apply early to maximize your eligibility for aid.
Washington State University & WSU-Vancouver Application Workshop: Tuesday, October 6, 2026 during 5th and 6th periods in the EHS Career Center. High school seniors may apply onsite and receive an admissions decision on the spot. This event is recommended for seniors with a 2.8 cumulative GPA or higher. Pre-registration is required. Sign up in the Career Center.
University of Washington Info Session & Application Workshop: Wednesday, October 7, 2026 during 5th and 6th periods in the EHS Career Center. Juniors and Seniors are invited to learn more about UW. Seniors can stay for an application workshop. A UW admissions counselor will be here to answer your questions. Sign-up in the Career Center to reserve your spot.

EHS College and Career Fair: Wednesday, October 28, 2026 - 1:15-3:15pm in the EHS Lower Gym. Students will be able to attend the fair during their 5th or 6th period class, by grade level. We will have over 75 colleges, trades, businesses, and military branches present. Come get more information about post-secondary education and career opportunities and speak with representatives about your future!
Portland State University Info Session & Application Workshop: Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 1:45-3:15pm in the EHS Career Center. Juniors and Seniors are invited to learn more about PSU. Seniors can stay for an application workshop. A PSU admissions counselor will be here to answer your questions. Sign-up in the Career Center to reserve your spot.
Not So Scary Financial Aid Workshop: Friday, October 30, 2026 from 9:30-2:30pm (Drop-in) in the EHS Career Center. Seniors and their parent(s)/guardian(s) who have questions or would like help completing their FAFSA or WASFA application are invited to stop by during this event. Mrs. Bergmann, our College & Career Guidance Specialist will be available to assist you. (You will need your Social Security Number to create an account for the FAFSA application.) This is a non-school day.

ASVAB Testing: Wednesday, November 18, 2026 at 8:45 AM in the EHS Career Center. The ASVAB is a Career Interest/Aptitude assessment that can be used for personal exploration, to meet a graduation pathway, or for job placement in the U.S. Military. Sign up in the Career Center.
