I'm Coach Meyers, and I'm honored to serve as the Head Girls and Boys Soccer Coach here at Cascade Middle School. With 16 years of coaching experience in soccer, as well as a background in collegiate athletics, I bring a deep love for the game and a commitment to excellence to our soccer program.

My journey in sports began during my college years at the University of Portland, where I had the privilege of playing both soccer and basketball. Those experiences not only shaped me as an athlete but also instilled in me a passion for coaching and mentoring young athletes.

Now in my fifth year at Cascade as both a coach and a PE teacher, I've had the pleasure of working with our student-athletes both on and off the field. As a coach, my goal is to help our players build strong fundamentals, develop their skills, and become great individuals both on and off the field.

In addition to my role in soccer, I also serve as the coach for girls basketball, where I continue to instill the same values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Whether it's on the soccer field or the basketball court, I believe that sports have the power to teach valuable life lessons and shape young individuals into confident, resilient, and compassionate individuals.

Hey everyone, I'm Coach Jacobs, and I'm thrilled to be joining the Cascade Middle School community as an assistant boys and girls soccer coach. While this marks my first year here, I come with a background rich in sports and a deep passion for coaching.

Originally hailing from Evergreen High School, sports have been a significant part of my life since my youth. Whether it was kicking a soccer ball or chasing down a fly ball on the baseball diamond, I've always been drawn to the thrill of competition and the camaraderie of being part of a team.

After high school, I continued to stay active in rec sports, finding joy in staying connected to the games I love. Now, as a coach, I have the opportunity to share that passion with a new generation of athletes.

One of the things I love most about coaching is the chance to connect with students in a different setting. It's incredibly rewarding to see them grow both as athletes and individuals throughout the season. I believe strongly in the power of teamwork, and I'm committed to instilling in my players the importance of supporting one another both on and off the field.

As an assistant coach, my focus is on building strong fundamentals and promoting growth in every player. Whether it's refining passing techniques, improving defensive strategies, or simply fostering a love for the game, I'm dedicated to helping each athlete reach their full potential.
