ECC's Kindness Committee

ECC's Kindness Committee began in the 2021-2022 school year as a leadership opportunity for fifth and sixth graders to help make an impact to the ECC community. The goal is for these students to help spread kindness to their peers through creating and implementing special events, keeping an eye out at recess for peers who may be feeling left-out, and helping out at younger grade recesses by checking the Buddy Bench, playing games with the students, and helping students who may be on their own finding new friends. This year, we have 43 students in the Kindness Committee. Our younger students love having them at recess, and our Kindness Committee members love being there!
