Janine Adams is the Eureka High School Library and Textbook Technician. Alumni of EHS and graduate from Cal Poly Humboldt, she earned a BA in Art History, minored in Studio Art, and was certified in Museum and Gallery Practices. She previously worked many years with a local coffee company (which may be why you think she looks familiar!), and for local Museums/Galleries. The 2023/24 school year marks her 5th year with the EHS Library, where (when Chromebook issues allow) she loves dreaming up new book displays or hearing book recommendations from Students! Her free time is spent on movie marathons and hanging with her family and furballs (Garth, pictured above, and Tutu the cat).

Mrs. Polizzi is in her second year as Eureka City Schools' Library Media Services Teacher. She taught history and Freshman Seminar at Eureka High School from 2017-2022. Mrs. Polizzi is currently earning her Master's in Library and Information Sciences from San Jose State University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History (with a minor in political science) and her teaching credential from Cal Poly Humboldt. In her spare time, Mrs. Polizzi enjoys gardening, camping, playing with her pets (Remi the dog & Ozzy the cat), making fancy charcuterie boards (AKA adult Lunchables), attending rock concerts, and drinking Yerba Mate. 

Mrs. Polizzi is the co-advisor for S Club and the advisor of Student Book Club.
