As preparation for the workshop, a number of Excel sheets (available in zip files from the links below) have been prepared for each country represented at the workshop. These Excel sheets summarise the distribution of residential building classes and all other assumptions that have been made so far by the SERA exposure modelling team. The participants of the workshop will be asked to review this data, and propose any changes or modifications. The Excel sheets also include empty tabs for industrial and commercial buildings, which the participants will be asked to compile during the workshop.
The following Excel sheet summarises the total number of residential and commercial buildings, and the area of industrial buildings, that have been estimated for each country. This will be reviewed by the workshop participants.
The design codes in each country have been used to identify the years between which buildings may be considered to be non-ductile, low ductility, moderate ductility and high ductility. The feedback from the participants of the workshop will be sought on these assumed ductility levels:
