Fred Zinda was born in Wisconsin and moved to Pinellas County in 1973. Fred started a family run pizza business in 1974 in Pinellas Park and then opened another Joto’s location in Seminole in 1982. Fred has have been a Seminole Chamber member since 1982 and has been active in supporting the Seminole community's sports leagues (teams), churches, and schools through sponsorships and donations.
Fred Zinda, his family, and his business have been supporting the Seminole community through sponsorships and donations - even prior to opening their Seminole Joto’s location in 1982. Fred made it a priority of his business to regularly support the local sports teams, churches, and schools and has been grateful for the relationships that have resulted as he has made wonderful friendships through those connections to the community.
In addition, Fred is proud to have employed so many young people from the Seminole community who joined Joto’s in high school and then returned to work with his company after finishing college. Many have chosen to make their careers as part of the Zinda family business.
Fred Zinda has always made it a priority to create a work environment where all the employees felt like they were"part of the family" and the result has been that the company has active employees who have 30+, 15+ and 8+ years of service with the business.
Joto’s currently has 3 generations of immediate family members working in the business. Fred takes great pride in knowing he has been able to pass down some of the skills and traits to his employees that have made him successful for over 45 years.
