Volunteering in the Classroom

There are many opportunities to volunteer in the classroom, but the district requires clearances to help. Obtaining the clearances may take some time, and if you are interested in volunteering, I would advise you to begin the process as soon as possible! Explanation of Volunteers

• Classroom Volunteer: The students and I love having family members help in the classroom! There are many opportunities for you from making copies to working with individual students and/or small groups. We will work around your schedule! Please contact me to let me know you are interested!

• Bring it Home Volunteer: If you are a working parent/guardian but you still want to help in the classroom, I can send home materials that need to be cut that you are able to do on your time. Once you are done, you may send it back with your child to school.

• Special Events Volunteer: If you want to help in the classroom but not often, you can come in during our special events to help!
