Class Dojo

This allows you to see how your child's behavior is during the school day. I am able to give you and your child quick feedback as to how his or her behavior is. You will be able to see a profile of your child giving you the percentage of positive and negative behaviors. If you have questions about his or her behaviors, please contact me.

Class Dojo also has a Class Story, and it allows me to safely share photos and videos of what is happening in the classroom. When I post photos and videos on our Class Story, it is only shared with the students and families of our classroom. I encourage you to visit this area to see the latest events and activities occurring in the classroom.

Seesaw

We will be using Seesaw for academic purposes in our classroom. The students will be using the Seesaw Class app to complete their work through digital portfolios. The digital portfolios allow you to see your child's work throughout the year. The students will be uploading work in all subject areas to show their understanding of topics. The digital portfolios will allow you to save their work digitally, and if your child happens to lose his or her work in transition from school to home, you will still be able to see it on Seesaw!

Families are encourage to download the Seesaw app. This allows you to view your child's work, and you may comment on your child's work. Seesaw also has a messenger within the application, and I will be using it as a way to communicate reminders. I will send reminders for P.E. and library exchange days. I would suggest allowing notifications on the application so you are up to date with information.

Scholastic Reading Club

This is a great way to buy books for your child at a discounted rate. I will send book orders home every month, and you have the opportunity to order books online. My online code is MKDHR. You can send your order and check with your child to school too.
