We meet every Thursday during Lunch 1 & 2 in Room H120 (Broadcast Studio)
Students Without Borders (SWB) is a welcoming space where we come together to support immigrant and undocumented communities at ETHS and beyond. We focus on learning, advocacy, and building community through open conversation, creativity, and action.
At our meetings, we:
Build community by sharing food, stories, and ideas in a safe, supportive space.
Plan events and awareness campaigns that promote equality, inclusion, and immigrant rights.
Host guest speakers - including activists, artists, alumni, immigration lawyers, and community leaders - who share their stories and experiences.
Hold “Know Your Rights” meetings with safety, administrators, & Evanston police to learn about our rights and community policies related to immigration.
Work on service projects that support local immigrant and refugee organizations.
Create art, videos, and educational materials that celebrate the beauty of migration.
Organize school-wide events like fundraisers, bake sales, community dinners, creative workshops, and our annual butterfly tattoos celebrating migration.
