Evanston Community Fridges are public refrigerators and pantries located throughout Evanston, providing free food and essential items to anyone in need. They operate on a “take what you need, leave what you can” model, helping reduce food insecurity and food waste. Stocked and maintained by volunteers and community donations, the fridges promote mutual aid, dignity, and care within the community by ensuring access to fresh food 24/7 without barriers.
