Please click here to access the ETHS Daily Class Schedule. This document will be updated with the most up-to-date information on schedules as ETHS continues to adapt to the needs of teachers, students, and the community during the pandemic.
For the 2020-2021 school year, all ETHS teachers will use Google Classroom as their primary method for delivering digital course materials and instructions. For PEWEDE staff to join the departmental Google Classroom, please visit classroom.google.com and click on the + sign in the top right corner. Then select “Join.” Use the code listed below to gain entry to the course.
For any class work and any homework assigned/due during excused or unexcused absences, students will have twice the number of missed school days to turn in assignments for full credit. This applies to assignments, assessments, and projects with previously announced deadlines. For more information, please see the student pilot handbook on the ETHS website.
DURING REMOTE LEARNING
While participating in remote or e-learning, students must check in each school day using the ETHS Attendance Check-In Form at any time between 12:00 am and 11:59 pm. The link to the attendance form is always the same and can be accessed here and on the school website. Students must complete the attendance form regardless of and separate from participating in classroom activities and completing assignments. If students forget to complete the attendance form, please have a guardian follow typical excused absences policies to report the absence. Information on absence reporting can be found on the school website here.
DURING IN PERSON LEARNING
When attending in-person classes, students are expected to be in class at the beginning of the period by the time the bell rings. For more information about attendance policies and procedures or in-person learning, please see the school website here.
ETHS is committed to ensuring all students have access to the technology needed for their learning. This includes a working Chromebook and Internet access. Students can request technical support through the ChromeZone (chromesupport@eths202.org, 847-424-7357) should they need any assistance with their school-issued Chromebook and/or access to the Internet via the District’s mobile hotspot program.
