Welcome to our website for AP Environmental Science!  I am SO excited to begin this journey with you to learn more about the Earth, environment, the home all humans share... and the (in)justice issues that exist.  This is my third year teaching AP Environmental Science and my friends and family can honestly tell you (perhaps with an eye-roll or two) that I cannot stop talking about it and geeking out on new ideas!  I even found our waste management unit fascinating!  I cannot wait to learn from you and with you as we open our minds to environmental stewardship, analyzing environmental racism, honoring historical notions of environmental preservation and sustainability, and recognizing our role in action and activism.

On this site, you can find the Course Information (including the Syllabus and AP testing information), Daily Agenda (Sem 1 | Sem 2), Contact Information for Dr. Slaton, a little bit of Information about Dr. Slaton, an on-going and growing list of resources related to APES and more!  At the end of the year, you might find the AP Environmental Science Exam Review helpful.

Most important to your day-to-day work In this cla ss are our daily agendas, especially if you are sick, absent, or just want to share with your family what we learned in class each day!  On the daily agendas you will find what we did/are doing each day, important links, and homework with due dates.  This agenda will be on the board each day and will be updated daily, if not more frequently.  Click here to see the Semester One Daily Agenda and the Semester Two Daily Agenda.

Hope this is a helpful resource for you!
