2024 Sustainability Summit

Welcome to the 2024 Sustainability Summit!

About the Event

The 2024 URI Sustainability Summit was a virtual event bringing together like-minded individuals who are passionate about sustainability and the environment. The theme of this summit was the role of sustainability in food production. At the beginning of the Summit, attendees were presented with a problem they then worked to present a solution to by the end of the summit. Next, speakers presented on various topics relating to their field of knowledge. The participants were then given time to split up into teams and brainstorm a solution to the problem, and make a short presentation. Once they presented, the attendees voted for their favorites, leaving us with a three-way tie for first place. Thank you to all of our presenters and participants for making the 2024 Summit a memorable one!
