Ashon Kline's SAE project is raising horses on his family farm. He does morning chores by feeding them hay and with the older horses he gives them grain. Ashon also practices showing them at home and walks them around his arena. Ashon shows his horse at a variety of private competitions. One of many accomplishments Ashon has received is placing first in his last private competition held at a fairground.
Lydia Edwards's SAE project is helping on her family´s farm. She works with the cattle by making sure that they are fed properly, has tags, has fly spray on them, gives them their vaccines when needed, and makes sure that they are all healthy. She has also helped build a fence for the cattle. In the fall, Lydia helps out with harvest by running the grain cart and helps dump the grain bins until trucks come to pick it up.
Mariska Kirchert's SAE project was working with the school's animal farm. She helped feed and take good care of the goats and ducks. Mariska helped clean out their pen and involved the elementary with helping take care of the animals.
