In October 8 members of the chapter went to national convention this year and experienced many amazing opportunities. the members met with the keynote speaker and met a famous Tik Tok ag teacher.
Six members of the ffa chapter attended the green hand fire up in October. The green hand fire up is for first year members to learn what FFA has to offer for them.
In april three officers attended state convention with about 7000 other Iowa FFA members. the three officers helped package meals for the heartland and they got to connect with different professionals in the ag industry. two of the officers also served as delegates in the business session, having an important role in helping elect the 2024-2025 state officers.
14 members competed at Northwest Missouri state university for the fall contest! students participated in livestock judging, farm business management, ffa knowledge, and dairy foods.
On wednesday january 29, 6 high school and 3 middle school students attended the LDE contest and had a very successful night.
The students who competed in the discovery quiz were; Piper Maher, Colt Nelson, and Bentley Bowers. the middle schoolers placed 1st as a team! Piper placed 2nd as an individual. Colt placed 5th as an individual. Bentley placed 6th as an individual.
the students who competed in the greenhand quiz were; Aiyana Keasey, Kaylee McAdams, Taylor Juarez, and Landyn Kimbro and placed 4th as a team! Aiyana placed 8th as an individual and Kaylee placed 9th as an individual.
