Biography:
Marie-Aimee Boury is a structured finance professional with 30 years international business experience at Société Générale in New York, London and Paris. Her areas of expertise are project finance and private placements, primarily in energy and infrastructure including in Emerging Markets. She is currently Head of Impact Based Finance whose mission is to act as a catalyst to generate disruptive financial innovation within the bank, contribute to thought leadership in collaborative initiatives, and advise the bank’s private and public clients to improve the bankability and scale up of their new business models, using a unique impact-driven and blended finance approach.
caroline le meaux - Global Head of ESG Research, Engagement and Voting Policy, Amundi
Biography:
Caroline Le Meaux joined Amundi on July 1st, 2019 and takes the responsibility of the ESG Research, Engagement and Voting team. She was previously head of the long-term investment department at the pension division of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) which is the fiduciary manager of several French pension funds including Ircantec and RAVGDT. She was notably in charge of the SRI strategy, ESG and climate policy. Before that, she was director of investment at FRR Fonds de Réserves des Retraites from 2011 to 2014. She was formerly fund manager at BNPPAM, managing Small and Mid-Caps European equities and has been head of quantitative analysis for European equities.
Caroline Le Meaux began her career at Paribas Asset Management; she is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and is a graduate of Paris IX Dauphine University.

Pierre-Antoine Machelon is CIO and Managing Director at Eiffel Investment Group and leads the Fund Manager’s infrastructure investments team.
Pierre-Antoine oversaw over 250 investments in the renewable energy sector for over 3 billion euros worth of investment.
Prior to joining Eiffel, Pierre-Antoine headed the business development at Louis Dreyfus Commodities. From 2006 to 2008, Pierre-Antoine was head of investor relations and M&A at Neuf Cegetel.
He holds a master in economics from Paris Dauphine University (1993) and a master in economics and finance from ESSEC business school (1992).
ALAIN NAEF - ASSISTANT Professor, Essec business school
Biography:
Alain Naef is an Assistant Professor at ESSEC Business School. He obtained his PhD from the University of Cambridge followed by a postdoc at UC Berkeley. He taught at Sciences Po, LSE, Warwick, Berkeley and Cambridge. Before joining ESSEC, he was a Senior Economist at the Banque de France and a member of the G20 sustainable finance working group. He also cofounded the research and policy network sustainable macro. His research focuses on fossil fuel companies and how to make them transition.
DEBORAH SHIRE - DEPUTY HEAD, AXA IM ALTS
Biography:
Deborah Shire was appointed Deputy Head of AXA IM Alts in 2020. AXA IM Alts is a global leader in alternative investments, with €185bn+ in assets under management across Real Estate, Infrastructure, Alternative Credit, Private Debt and Private Equity.
AXA IM Alts is a global leader in alternatives investment, with more than €184bn in assets under management and an established position in real estate (#1 real estate investment manager in Europe, #9 worldwide), infrastructure (#3 global infrastructure debt capital raiser), private debt (#1 CRE debt capital raiser globally, #4 global private debt capital raiser) and hedge funds.
Deborah oversees the Alternative Credit business, which employs more than 75 professionals in Europe and the US. In 2000, Deborah co-founded the Structured Finance platform, growing it from a €3.5bn business to one of the largest managers of alternative credit assets in Europe today, managing €49bn for 100+ clients. In her role, Deborah leads the development and launch of a performing and diversified product range including leveraged loans, ABS, CLOs, ILS, Mortgages, Regulatory Capital and Impact investment. The Structured Finance business recently received the following
awards: US CLO Manager of the year (from CreditFlux), Senior CLO Investor of the year (European Securitization Awards) and 3 Environmental Finance Awards in the Health, Education and social inclusion categories.
Between 2011 to 2014, Deborah served as a Global Head of Business Development within the Real Assets team at AXA IM, in this role she was responsible for Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, Marketing & Communication and Business Development. Deborah was also a member of the Management Board of AXA IM – Real Assets and was instrumental in the creation of the CRE debt platform, now firmly established as a global leader in its field today.
Deborah has extensive experience working for AXA group and held various positions both in the Finance and Quantative Management departments before moving to AXA IM Structured Finance in 2000.
Deborah joined AXA in 1996 and has had over 26 years of experience.
Deborah holds a Diploma of Financial Analyst from the French Society of Financial Analysts (SFAF) and is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace in Engineering.
