GERALDINE ANG, Green Finance & Investment, OECD

Geraldine Ang works as a Project Manager and Senior Policy Analyst on Green Finance and Investment at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), which she joined in 2011. Under the OECD Centre on Green Finance and Investment, she has developed several projects to mobilise green finance and investment in support of climate and biodiversity goals. She is leading a new project on “Developing a Supervisory

Framework for Financial Risks Stemming from Biodiversity-related Losses”. She is also coordinating the OECD Working Party on Climate, Investment and Development (WPCID).

Geraldine has co-authored multiple OECD reports, including reports to the G7 on biodiversity. She has organised several events on green finance and investment, such as the annual OECD Forum on Green Finance and Investment. Prior to joining the OECD, she conducted research on climate mitigation for the Earth Institute. Previously, she worked for Lagardere Active and the French Senate. Geraldine holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s SIPA (2011), and a Master of Science in Management from HEC Paris (2006).

JULIEN FOLL, ESG Research & Engagement, Amundi

Julien Foll joined Amundi’s ESG Research and Engagement team in 2021. Julien notably leads thematic engagement and research about biodiversity. Prior to joining Amundi, he served as responsible investment analyst at AXA IM in Paris. There he led company, country, green bond and thematic ESG Research. He also conducted engagement and coordinated ESG integration projects.

Julien previously served as Director at CNS, an international cooperation NGO in Canada and he started his career as a CSR Project Manager for Société Générale in Romania.

Julien holds a Master’s in International Economic Development and Sustainable Development from Université de Nantes ; and a MA in Economics from the Université de Bretagne Occidentale in Brest.

ERIC SCHOUMSKY, Impact-Based Finance & Natural Capital Solutions, Société Générale SGCIB

Within the Impact-Based Finance department of Societe Generale, Eric is in charge of developing the offer around Natural Capital and nature-based solutions. He is strongly involved in the definition and implementation of the group's Biodiversity roadmap. Before that, Eric was a fund manager for 12 years where he worked in particular on extra-financial and impact analysis and the construction of impact investment portfolios. 

LIUDMILA STRAKODONSKAYA, ESG Analyst, axa im

Liudmila Strakodonskaya began her career in 2016, working as a sustainable investment analyst for EthiFinance specialising in ESG, climate-related analysis and reporting. She then joined Eleva Capital as an ESG/SRI specialist in 2019 where she developed an ESG strategy for the company and represented them to the UN PRI. In April 2021, Liudmila joined AXA IM as an ESG Analyst to provide thematic research and analysis on ESG topics, including a specific focus on biodiversity, to support AXA IM’s active engagement initiatives as well as to contribute to research on sustainable bonds.

She holds a PhD in Economics, Expertise from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University for which she received a grant from FIR-UN PRI in 2016.

romain sVARTZMAN, Economist, Banque de France

Romain Svartzman is an economist within the Banque de France’s Climate Change Center, and a research associate at the Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) of the University College London. His work focuses on the assessment of macroeconomic impacts and financial risks related to environmental issues, including climate change and biodiversity loss. He holds a PhD in environmental macroeconomics from McGill University (Canada) and has previous experiences in green finance, working for the public and private sectors.
