What to Expect as a Sophomore
Sophomores may engage in the following:
Attend a Sophomore Summer Bridge Program at ESM High School and on the OCC campus
Participate in Educational Learning Opportunities including off-site field trips and on-site professional workshops
Take first college course, Public Speaking, at ESM High School
Take some Advanced Placement (AP) courses at ESM High School (optional)
Meet with high school advisor to plan for college level courses Junior year

College Courses
Sophomores begin taking college level courses at the high school. Course selection is dependent on whether the student is working to complete the full degree. Possible college level courses taken at the high school include:
COM 210 Public Speaking
AP World History
