What to Expect as a Freshman
Freshmen may engage in the following:
Participate in Educational Learning Opportunities including off-site field trips and on-site professional workshops
Attend a Freshman Orientation the summer before Freshman year
Meet with high school advisor to determine degree track and discuss college and/or career goals
College Courses
College Courses
Freshmen do not take college level courses. The focus for freshman year is the transition to the high school to get acclimated to the building and expectations of a high school student. Spartan Academy involvement includes participation in the EDLOs and meeting with the high school advisor to discuss and plan for each student's individual goals in the program.Â
