1. How do I enter service hours?
   • Enter service hours by filling out the form found on this website
2. The service partner I'd like to work with/for is not listed on the service hours form? How can I add them?
   • In order to get approval for your hours with a certain group to count, you must complete a service partnership request. This request will go to the service learning committee for approval. Some organizations are great groups to work with, but remember volunteer hours are not the same as service hours.
3. If I want to receive service distinction, how many hours can come from service to ESK?
   • All of your service hours can come from activities/service off-campus (non-ESK service). If you do choose to complete service at ESK, then only half of your hours can come from service at or for ESK.
4. If you can only have 3 church worshiping hours for normal service, could you have more for service distinction?
   • Each student is only allowed to count 3 hours of church worshiping towards service because by being part of a worshiping church body, the service you do for the church (i.e. being an acolyte, preparing for communion, setting up for service) is part of your commitment to the church.
5. If I serve meals at church to people who have alcohol/drug problems or are homeless, does that count as church worshiping hours?
   • No this type of service is counted as direct service hours. We love to see this type of service entered!
