Secor Servant Leader Award

Servant Leadership was exemplified by our school's Founding Headmaster, Jay Secor. To honor him at the time of his announced retirement, the faculty created an award to recognize students whose commitment to service was truly extraordinary. Students are chosen for the award by a committee of the faculty. Top factors for consideration are the amount of time a student served that year and how well that service reinforces the goals of mercy and justice embraced by the Episcopal Church and Episcopal Schools nationwide. Honorees receive an engraved water pitcher as a symbol of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples.
