In February, three teachers and ten students from 6th grade had the amazing opportunity to travel to Denmark as part of our Erasmus+ mobility. We visited Grindsted School in Aalborg, where we spent several days learning, sharing, and experiencing a new culture.
This experience has been truly unforgettable! We learned new things, made new friends, and discovered what school life is like in Denmark. Our students stayed with host families, which allowed them to immerse themselves in Danish culture. They shared meals, traditions, and daily routines with their host families, making this experience even more special.
During our stay, we participated in many activities:
✅ We cooked soup outdoors, learning traditional Danish outdoor cooking techniques.
✅ We learned basic German, expanding our language skills.
✅ We visited the school, where we explored classrooms and experienced a different educational system.
✅ We went ice skating, trying out a fun winter activity.
✅ We visited Aalborg Zoo, discovering amazing animals.
✅ We enjoyed a guided tour, learning about the city's history and culture.
✅ We tasted typical Danish food, sharing wonderful moments with our host families.
This mobility has been an incredible learning experience for both students and teachers. It has helped us grow, develop new skills, and appreciate different ways of learning and living. We are so grateful for this opportunity and can't wait for the next Erasmus+ adventure!
Thank you, Grindsted School, for welcoming us with open arms!
DAILY JOURNAL DENMARK
As part of the Erasmus + program, 10 students from 6th grade will be going abroad. One of the tasks is to complete a daily journal, where they will write down an experience or something they liked every day. This will help them to explain their experiences to the entire school community when they come back.
