Once you have passed Resident Educator Summative Assessment (RESA), you can be registered as a year 4 Resident Educator and complete your leadership year.

Leadership activities are locally determined by your district of hire.

You will be assigned a colleague that will work with you to complete your leadership requirements.

Leadership Activities consist of the following;

• Completion of a leadership project and documentation of leadership project/year reflection.

• Completion of "Advancing Teacher Leadership" modules from ODE Learning Management System.

Once you have completed your leadership year activities and are signed off in CORE, you will be able to transition to your 5 year professional license.

NOTE: Check with your local Program Coordinator for required documentation of leadership activities.

NOTE: The end of the year session (March 2023) will provide support for your transition and maintenance of your 5 year professional license.
