RESA 2023-2024 Timeline

1. Update your email in ODE CORE.

2. Become familiar with www.ohioresa.com

3. Download the RESA Guidebook and Review.

4. Begin completing the downloadable Lesson Reflection form on www.ohioresa.com under resources.

5. Self-register for a RESA account on ohioresa.com starting October 3rd, 2023.

6. You can begin submitting your RESA on October 3rd, 2023 or after you have been registered in CORE as being eligible to submit RESA. *If you have not been registered in CORE by your Program Coordinator, the button to begin your assessment will not be present

7. If you need to request a RESA modification or accommodation, the form must be submitted by February 1, 2024.

8. Have your Program Coordinator register you in the Ohio CORE database as being eligible to take the RESA by November 15th, 2023.

9. Complete the forms, upload and segment your video, and submit the Teaching and Learning Context Form and Lesson Reflection Form between October 3rd, 2023 and April 5th, 2024.

10. Your RESA will be scored by an assessor and your scores will be returned within 30-45 days. If you fail, you can re-submit (before April 5th). If you pass, you are complete with this component of RE responsibilities. 

11. There is no limit to the amount of times that you can submit RESA. You can submit as many times as are needed to pass.

12. When not working on RESA submission you can resume mentoring activities and complete any other district specific requirements.
