National Retail Federation: NRF

To meet the increasing demand for these roles – more than 400,000 warehouse-related job openings nationwide – the NRF Foundation has added a new course to its suite of credentials: RISE Up Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics.

Warehouses and distribution/fulfillment centers employ people year-round and typically add staff as business ramps up through the fall and holiday season. To equip people for these roles, the NRF Foundation’s credential, which was developed in collaboration with the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) Foundation, covers the importance of supply chains and the operations of warehouses, along with an in-depth look at the jobs and career paths available.

The course can be completed in less than 10 hours and is designed to assist people of all backgrounds in becoming career ready for opportunities in their communities in retail supply chain.

The Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics training can stand on its own or be offered with other NRF Foundation credentials: Retail Industry Fundamentals, Customer Service and Sales and The Business of Retail: Operations and Profit.
