Definition of climate change

Climate change is a change in the average temperature in a certain place, during a long period of time. People have seen the Earth’s surface warming. The warmest years that we know of, have happened in the past 20 years. These climate changes are in the usual climate of the planet (including temperature, precipitation, and wind). It’s mostly caused by human actions. With years of studying the Earth, scientists have uncovered that one of the biggest consequences of climate change is global warming. The Earth’s surface is getting warmer all around the world. Keep in mind that climate change can also turn the climate conditions of a certain place colder.
