Speech Impairment is the most commonly identified eligibility for special education services. The Student Support Specialists screen all children whose parents or teachers have indicated a concern on the Suspected Disabilities Form. If you have a concern and are not sure if your child has been screened, contact your teacher and ask that a Head Start Specialist conduct a screening to see if your child is behind in language or articulation.
