Region 4
Region 4 is one of 20 regional service centers established by the Texas Legislature to assist school districts and charter schools in improving efficiencies and student performance. We serve 48 public school districts and 41 open-enrollment charter schools. Our core purpose is to provide excellence in service for children.
About US
The Region 4 Accountability & Assessment Team provides accurate, timely, and relevant support and professional development for campus and district leaders. Our team works in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency to provide the most current information and guidance related to statewide assessments and accountability.
We offer training, support, and technical assistance to administrators, campus testing coordinators (CTCs), district testing coordinators (DTCs), and all-level leadership. Additionally, we provide support in aligning the areas of assessment and accountability. On-site assistance is also available to new district coordinators in all assessment management areas, including preparation for online assessments.
