Carla Bergult

Carla has been in the field of education for almost 30 years with teaching experience in Education, ASL, workshops, retreats, and vocational training. She holds a MA from Regent University, a BS from Texas Woman’s University, and an AA from Riverside City

College and has teacher certifications in both Texas and Georgia for both Deaf Ed and ASL. Berghult also holds ASLTA certification. She is listed in “Who’s Who Among America’s Teacher” for 1994, 2004, & 2005. She has taught ASL at Central Texas College, Floyd College, Georgia State University, and University of Georgia at Athens and currently teaches in the Keller ISD and Tarrant County Community College. She loves to travel, camp, hike, work with wood and ceramics, and she loves her Texas Rangers! She manages the Texas ASL Educator’s website and is an administrator for the Facebook page.
